ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY:
Smarter Building Solutions

At HR Pacific, advanced technology is more than a tool. It is the foundation of how we plan, coordinate, and deliver projects that meet the highest expectations. For homeowners, architects, and commercial clients, it means building with greater clarity, fewer risks, and a smoother process from concept to completion. By integrating digital platforms, lean construction practices, and specialized expertise, we create smarter building solutions that adapt to complex environments while producing results that stand the test of time.

MASS TIMBER
CONSTRUCTION

Mass timber is a modern building method that uses large-scale engineered wood products, including cross-laminated timber (CLT), glue-laminated beams (glulam), and other laminated systems, to form the structural core of a project. These components are manufactured to exact specifications, resulting in lighter yet comparably strong alternatives to steel or concrete. Prefabrication improves quality control, shortens construction timelines, and reduces waste, while allowing for precise on-site installation. Many elements are left exposed as part of the final design, giving interiors a natural, modern aesthetic. At HR Pacific, mass timber aligns with our expertise in planning, sequencing, and assembling complex projects. We work closely with architects, engineers, and fabricators to ensure connections are efficient, installations are precise, and the finished product reflects both performance and design intent. For clients, this means faster delivery, exceptional craftsmanship, and a sustainable building solution that combines innovation with the enduring warmth of wood.

OFF-SITE
FABRICATION

Off - site fabrication is the process of building portions of a project in a controlled environment, away from the job site. These assemblies are then delivered ready for installation, reducing time spent working in unpredictable conditions. This method improves quality control, shortens timelines, and reduces on - site disruptions. It is especially valuable in extreme climates such as the Rocky Mountains, where towns like Revelstoke and Golden, B.C., experience heavy snowfall, high winds, and prolonged cold periods that can slow traditional on - site work. Using off - site fabrication allows projects to keep moving in these challenging conditions by building and storing assemblies under cover and shipping them only when ready, which supp orts our just - in - time construction approach by reducing downtime, minimizing storage, improving safety, and keeping job sites clean, organized, and efficient. HR Pacific incorporates off - site fabrication into our projects by partnering with trusted fabrica tion specialists. While we do not fabricate assemblies ourselves, we coordinate and oversee the process to ensure quality and accuracy.

3D MODELLING
& BIM

Building Information Modeling, or BIM, is more than software. It is a collaborative method that uses a 3D model to represent the physical and functional details of a building. The model consolidates data from multiple disciplines into one accurate, real-time source of information, supporting planning, construction, and long-term operations. At HR Pacific, BIM is integrated into Autodesk Construction Cloud Build (ACC Build), allowing teams and clients to access the latest drawings, updates, and issue tracking from anywhere. This ensures trades are coordinated, design intent is clearly understood, and potential clashes are resolved before they delay progress. Our team also develops models in-house when required, producing coordinated drawings, accurate documentation, and reliable as-built models. With nearly two decades of model-based delivery experience, we use BIM as a practical tool to improve outcomes. For clients, this translates into fewer risks, better communication, and a more precise building process.

JUST-IN-TIME CONSTRUCTION

Just-in-time construction is an approach that synchronizes the arrival of materials, components, and labor with exact project needs. Instead of stockpiling resources or working ahead of schedule, this method ensures that every element arrives ready for installation. At HR Pacific, just-in-time is integrated into our workflows alongside BIM and Autodesk Construction Cloud Build (ACC Build), allowing us to link digital models directly to construction timelines. This coordination ensures deliveries match site readiness, minimizes storage requirements, and reduces risks. The approach is particularly valuable for mass timber and prefabricated assemblies, where components are large, pre-finished, and require careful handling. By working closely with suppliers and fabricators, we protect quality while avoiding delays and downtime. For clients, just-in-time construction translates into efficient job sites, improved communication, and projects delivered with precision. It reflects HR Pacific’s commitment to lean, controlled building practices that enhance safety, reduce waste, and ensure dependable results.

JUST-IN-TIME CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

ACC BUILD

Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Build is a centralized construction management platform that allows our teams to plan, track, and deliver projects with greater accuracy and efficiency. It replaces disconnected tools with a single system for scheduling, budgeting, document control, communication, and risk tracking. At HR Pacific, we use ACC Build to centralize drawings, RFIs, schedules, and field updates, ensuring that consultants, architects, and clients are always working from the latest information. The platform integrates 3D models, which allows design intent to be clearly understood, potential conflicts to be caught early, and coordination between trades to improve significantly. Since many architects and engineers already work within Autodesk, we can align directly with their workflows to reduce communication gaps. Clients benefit from real-time progress tracking and full visibility into project decisions, while every change is stored for long-term reference. This shared environment supports quality, safety, and efficiency, whether we are building a custom home or a commercial facility.
