The Roxboro River House is a high-end city residence built by HR Pacific in downtown Calgary, Alberta. Completed in 2012, the project represents the second collaboration between HR Pacific and Bohlin Grauman Miller Architects in affiliation with Bohlin Cywinski Jackson. The home is defined by the use of steel, glass, and exposed concrete, materials that emphasize clarity, durability, and modern design intent.
This residence required a high level of coordination between the design and build teams. Every stage of the project was guided by collaboration to ensure that the architect’s vision was executed with precision. The combination of robust structural elements and transparent glazing yields a distinctive city home that strikes a balance between strength and refinement.
As a one-of-a-kind modern residence, the Roxboro River House illustrates HR Pacific’s ability to deliver complex projects in an urban environment while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship.
