Flatwillow Luxury Estate

Designed by Mark Burkart, the Flatwillow Luxury Estate Residence is a ski-in, ski-out home located at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. The owners wanted a resort home that incorporated natural materials and blended with the mountain environment.

The Flatwillow is named after the unique Living Sandstone used throughout on both interior and exterior rock walls. The stone is field picked with natural lichen left intact. The stonework is complimented by extensive use of fir and cedar including timbers, wall finishes and millwork. The timbers are charred and wire brushed to create a rustic feel. Soaring windows frame mountain views.
