In the last three years, we have had the great pleasure of working with HR Pacific Construction on two custom residential projects. The first is a weekend mountain home of approximately 4,000 sq. ft. with a significant amount of exposed wood and steel structure as well as exposed board-formed concrete on the interior and exterior. During all phases HR Pacific was collaborative, flexible and maintained an extremely high level of craftsmanship throughout the project.

The second project is 10,000 sq. ft. three-story residence in an urban neighbourhood, where HR Pacific was hired after the owner decided to terminate the contract with another general contractor. This project also involved a significant amount of architecturally exposed structural steel, wood and concrete. In addition, much of the work performed by the original contractor was found to be defective or outside of acceptable construction tolerances. HR Pacific, and in particular Michael Ratzlaff worked with our BIM model to study the structural systems, understand the nature of the construction assemblies and worked diligently to correct the errors and omissions of the previous contractor. Throughout the entire process, Michael and the team at HR Pacific were extremely collaborative, organized and detail-oriented. The result is an extraordinary modern residence with exceptional craftsmanship and finish.
